On the Way Out

A few parting photos from our trip. I didn't get any photos from the boat because of the window reflections & my inability to get the camera to focus though the window.. I may have got some good video, But I won't know until I can put it on a larger screen.

Mom and I are waiting for our taxi while the dishwasher runs. (I hope I got it right this time. I could only find instructions in German on the web.) handling our bags in a crowded tram didn't seem like fun, especially since Mom has two roller bags. There is a baggage delivery service, but after the cost of that plus tram and train ticket, a taxi wasn't that much more expensive.

Photos: the only really big bulb-seller at the flower market, houseboat viewed from the bridge, houseboat living room, houseboat entry (and Mom!).

Tourism

I may not have known where we were, but I do know that we were not in the middle of the canal! Sometimes GPS isn't as accurate as it thinks it is, and paper maps win.

I hope to have time tomorrow (Friday) to post before we leave. But if not, I'll see you soon. We did manage to visit the flower market (a tourist trap), take a canal tour (also touristy, but far more interesting), and have a rijsttafel dinner—knocking out three to-dos on our final day.
